Mission

LexLinc exists to empower Lexington’s underserved neighborhoods and families. We are a neutral convener actively connecting people and organizations while mobilizing leadership across all community levels.


Focus Areas

1) Families Economically Empowered

a. Increase knowledge and use of EITC and asset building.
b. Strengthen family self-sufficiency and reduce personal barriers to enter the workplace.


2) Children and Youth Poised for Success

a. Children and youth are well educated, well rounded and well supported persons.
b. Children and youth are safe in their families.


3) Strong, Thriving Neighborhoods lead to Safe and Healthy Families

a. Develop neighborhood leaders and resources to create strong, thriving neighborhoods.
b. Support neighborhoods in developing linkages to close the achievement gap in public education.
c. Support neighborhoods undergoing structural and environmental change by strengthening community organizations and partnerships.
